Aboriginal Cup - Canadian First Nation Futsal National Team Aboriginal Cup Champion 1987.
Led by Nanaimo Chief Jerry Brown, Coached by Danny Henry from Victoria West Soccer, the Canadian Aboriginal Futsal Team won the First Futsal Aboriginal International Cup in Canada in !987, in a best of three games series played against The Australian Aboriginal National Futsal Team .
The games were played in the cities of Vancouver, Victoria and Nanaimo, Canada , 1987, This still the best futsal event in the Canadian Futsal History. organizing Committe Chief Jerry Brown - Chairperson Alex Steward , Futsal Canada Association President Carlos Mateus , Vice president Bob Debuscher, Board directors: Ike MacKay, Charlie Cuzzetto, Les Malbon, Vina Robinson, Bonny Bowers, Ralph Forhaw, Tracy Lavalle and David Roach referee. Chief Jerry Brown and the organizing committe members, made it possible to have the best futsal event played in Canada.
