Futsal in Canada since it's stardon still going strong since the 80's . The 2015 futsal season at the Cowichan Tribes ' gymnasium in the City of Duncan, British Columbia , Canada , started with a weekend tournament to bring people together and moves on to a full futsal league for both women and men's division , making this one of the oldest futsal program in Canada that i had the pleasure to participate right from the beginning On December 6, 2015 , I went visit the Cowichan Tribes Futsal Tournament and met with some old futsal friend , that goes back 30 years ago , and some of them still playing futsal . Just to list a few : brothers Craig George and Dwyane George , Alec Johnnie once considered the best futsal player in Canada ( now his 19 years old son was awarded one of the tournament Best Player .
