Balneario Camboriu Rescue to the City of Mirin Doce Under Rain Flood


 Mayor / Prefeito - Edson Piriquito ( second from the left ) brings Balneario Camboriu together during the Futebol Jogo das Estrelas - Soccer all star game ,fundraising event in pro of the victims of the rain flood in the city of Mirim Doce, Santa Catarina , Brazil. Edson Piriquito played in the  green team beside world cup veterans  Marcio Santos and Jorginho,  wining the game by 5 to 4..

Balneario Camboriu Politicians and service club members got together to promote the jogo das estrelas.    A fundraising event that brought awareness about the rain flood that sank the city of Mirin Doce "Sweet Stream" in English .

 T- shirt "This is my Town"  Essa é Minha Cidade"  joined by  Balneario Camboriu Mayor Edson Renato Dias known by  Piriquito, Vice Prefeito Claudio Dalvesco and Argentina Honorary Ambassador - Ernesto Domingues with wife Silvia Ing - Ernesto Domingues is the President  of the Argentina  Residents Association  in Santa Catarina, Brazil.


According to what has been reported in the world wide web, the City of Mirin Doce was heavy hit by a summer rain storm, that came down this month, devastating the rice crops and the honey industry- People and bees were left without their homes, in the the sweet little town , founded by Europeans settler mostly from Austria and Germany . 

The City of Mirin Doce or "Sweet Stream"  is known by their hard working and friendly people, that loves to spend vacation in Balneario Camboriu..

Rice crops, the city major revenue,  as well as beekeeper lost their hives and the honey  washed way in the rain storm . People and bees are without their homes  to go to.
5 tons of non perishable food ,  was donated at the soccer field gate.
clothing , furniture new and used ones, are been donated from service clubs such as Rotary, Lions, chamber of commerce , churches  and industries of food and furniture manufacturers.

Nanaimo Judo Club - History of Judo in Nanaimo - Dojo Sensei Mateus

The Nanaimo Judo Club  Dojo Should be Officially  Named " Dojo  Sensei Carlos Mateus " Sensei Carlos Mateus  in 1980  found the dojo  Sanshiro Judo Club at the  Giro Youth  Centre  producing  fine black belts . Sensei Mateus  attending a request from  late Sensei Joe McPeek  shared and  amalgamate of the dojo with the Nanaimo judo club,  that was  struggling to find a dojo  after a flood  on the building under the Queens nightclub - on China  steps , damaged the club straw mats " " Dojo  is a family tradition - Usually a Black Belt when  ready to coach  judo he/she goes  to a Neighbourhood  and found it's own dojo to creating competition "   the rest is History that can not be changed" Futsal Canada Blog is not just about futsal ,  it is about sport and Judo is my first sport .
