Futsal Canada in Brazil 2007 Grand Prix : FIFA History

In 2007 Brazil was hosting the third Futsal Grand Prix in the City of Joinville, Lages and Jaragua do Sul - home of the defunct Malwee Futsal Club.
It was a futsal event in preparation for the 2008 World Cup in Rio de Janeiro
The Brazilian  Futsal Grand Prix is an annual  tournament organized by the CBFS sanctioned by FIFA .
Twenty four nations were invited to participated .
On the last week Costa Rica decided not to attend .
Brazil Futsal CBFS needed a team to fill de gap.
Canadian AMF futsal past President Christian Prevost found an opportunity to move to Fifa futsal . He put together a Canadian futsal team and represent Canada.
From that Canada was Back in the futsal International Arena. and the Canadian goalkeeper Roy Blanch  put on a great performance against Brazil making Canadian Futsal History

Penalty  was the official uniform of the Canadian  futsal team playing at the 2007 Brazilian Futsal Grand Prix .
I made a call to Penalty Brazil and in 48 hours there were boxes of uniforms. I payed out of  my pocket to put the Canadian Futsal Team Maple Leave  logo and Canada name  and numbering on the red and white  playing uniforms.....

Nanaimo Judo Club - History of Judo in Nanaimo - Dojo Sensei Mateus

The Nanaimo Judo Club  Dojo Should be Officially  Named " Dojo  Sensei Carlos Mateus " Sensei Carlos Mateus  in 1980  found the dojo  Sanshiro Judo Club at the  Giro Youth  Centre  producing  fine black belts . Sensei Mateus  attending a request from  late Sensei Joe McPeek  shared and  amalgamate of the dojo with the Nanaimo judo club,  that was  struggling to find a dojo  after a flood  on the building under the Queens nightclub - on China  steps , damaged the club straw mats " " Dojo  is a family tradition - Usually a Black Belt when  ready to coach  judo he/she goes  to a Neighbourhood  and found it's own dojo to creating competition "   the rest is History that can not be changed" Futsal Canada Blog is not just about futsal ,  it is about sport and Judo is my first sport .
